Better late than never right?! I am just now getting around to blogging this beautiful wedding and I can’t believe it took me this long but what can I say #2020
Emme and Jonathan’s day will go down as one of my favorites. These two high school sweethearts got married amidst a pandemic but overflowing with joy. The ceremony took place at First United Methodist Church which is the church they both grew up in so it just made sense that they exchange vows inside that same sanctuary. Before heading to the reception at the Brownfield House we went to downtown Opelika to take a few “just married” portraits.
The reception was complete with Taco Mama to cater, a giant cookie cake, and lets not forget the hand sanitizer as a wedding favor that gave it the perfect pandemic touch.
The whole day was simply the best. Full of laughter, a small group of friends and family and a Kings of Leon daddy daughter dance that was perfect.
I loved this couple and everything about their day. I’m so glad they chose me to be a part of their day. What an honor.
Wish you guys a continued life of laughter and a whole lot of happily ever after 🙂
