Lindsey + Joseph

I woke up Saturday morning and honestly thought “oh no. This isn’t good. 100% chance of rain all day long.”  But I thought, “well maybe there will be some nice covered areas where we can get some good photos and still be outside.” And then we pulled up to the church and there was NOTHING. Not even an awning  over the front doors. I began to worry but THEN I discovered the beautiful little courtyard in the middle of the church ***cue the hallelujah angels*** Oh my goodness, from that point on it didn’t matter if it rained or shined, I knew we were going to get some amazing photos. So so so good.

There are several moments that stand out to me as favorites from the day. A couple of the ones that are at the very top of the list would be when Lindsey’s mom was buttoning up her dress. When she finished she placed both of her hands on Lindsey and said “all right. It’s all done.” And then Lindsey turned around and it was at that moment that her sweet mama was overcome with joy. And being the mother of a little girl, I can just imagine how surreal that moment was. Oh the waterworks, just thinking about it.

Another favorite was Joseph dancing with his grandmother. It was the BEST! You’ll just have to see the photos.

I love everything about this wedding. All the way down to the pocket square that the groom wore (because it was a light teal. Duh.:) The families, the bride and the groom, the colors, the venue, the EVERYTHING. It was all done so very very well. The ceremony was at First Presbyterian in Columbus, Ga. And the reception was at the Country Club of Columbus. It was a perfect day all because of some amazing people that had a hand in it. I’ve listed some of those vendors at the bottom.

Lindsey and Joseph, I hope that you love your photos forever and ever. I’m pretty sure that I will.

This moment…right here. So beautiful. I love their sweet relationship.

When the bride asks, “is it ok if I share a first look with my dad?” YES!!!!!

He adores her. That look in his eyes *sigh* I love it!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!

Quintessential spring colors. I am in love with those flowers. So dreamy.

Lindsey Lindsey Lindsey…I still can’t get over you.

Oh and this one right here…another favorite moment…when her grandmother saw her:)

Joseph, those dip skills are on point!

Lindsey a pharmacist and Joseph a doctor…their wedding favors…pill bottles with a prescription for chocolate kisses. Such a great idea.

As I’ve said before, father daughter dances are tough for me these days. Ever since having a sweet little girl of my own who adores her daddy, I just can’t. I can barely hold it together enough to photograph them. When I spotted her emotional mama across the way I couldn’t help but think “whew, I feel ya mama.” Because I am one blink away from being in her shoes.

Isn’t this the best? Him dancing with his grandmother. She’s got some moves too.

See, here is grandma getting down again:)))

A sweet sweet hug from the groom’s sister after her toast to the newlyweds.

I’ll be crushing on these two for a while. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Coppiano.
